Demo Site for Real Estate Agents

An online demo, showing how to manage real estate objects with TYPO3, is now available. It is based on our new YAML template for TYPO3, which will be released soon.

Based on the realty extension, which we have modified, the key-features of the template are:

• Unlimited support of foreign languages.
• Unlimited amount of objects, images, areas and locations.
• Google Maps™ for the single view and all list views. Markers are inserted automatically.
• Map markers disappear automatically from the map at a certain zoom level, if Show exact address is not checked.
• Import of OpenImmo records from ZIP files.
• Import of other database records, for example the xml2u feed, is also possible but must be examined before processing an order.
• RSA encrypted passwords for both frontend- and backend-users.

As mentioned above, this web uses our brand new YAML for Templavoila template, which will be released to the public very soon, after some more testing and optimization.

Modifications to the original realty extension were necessary, namely because Google's geocoding does not work exactely in many asian countries. Read more about geocoding problems with Thai addresses in an article on the demo web.
